Joemamma and I woke up at 7:30 this morning. By 8 we were out of the Valley. By 10 we had our first "appointment" in SLC with a car salesman. After 3 stops, 6 cars, a LOT of "discussion" and "soul searching" I am now the proud new owner of a "new" 2001 Volvo S80. This car has an inline 6, is front wheel drive, and the a/c works. At long last, finally, after many months of waiting, I finally have a new light system for my living room. This new system does not use a transformer at all, it is strictly line voltage. My old iPod, Drifter, met a rather disappointing end Friday afternoon when it fell out of my pocket straight onto the concrete floor of the lab. Yaaayy! They got the new HVAC system to work in my office! I can finally think in here! I was a bit nervous at first that I didn't feel any blowing wind or anything but my office, after a whole night of cooling down, is finally a comfortable 68˚F. Life, is good again.
